Species Registration Instructions

You can register new species, new combinations, new names, or report species, synonyms, common names, or references that are currently missing from the Catalogue of Life in Taiwan (TaiCOL). Your contributions will support biodiversity conservation efforts both locally and internationally, and help make TaiCOL more comprehensive.

There are two ways to register:

  • Submit literature, and we will assist in completing the registration process.

    Submit literature

  • Register through the TaiCOL Scientific Name Management Tool to complete the registration yourself. (Basic taxonomic knowledge required)
